Sellers
Each partner restaurant, grocery store and dairy must hold its own valid FSSAI licence or registration. It is displayed on the seller's store page and each of its product pages. Listings marked Sample listing on the website are examples shown before launch; they are not real sellers or products and cannot be ordered.
Our commitments
- Display complete label information for every product, consistent with the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Regulations, 2020.
- List only sellers with a valid FSSAI licence or registration, and delist sellers whose licence lapses or is suspended.
- Deliver packaged food with at least 30% of its shelf life, or 45 days, remaining, whichever is lower.
- Keep food in clean, insulated delivery bags, separate from non-food items, with trained delivery partners.
- Record, investigate and resolve food safety complaints, and cooperate fully with the Food Safety Authority.
FSSAI Order of 18 March 2026 (e-commerce FBOs)
SCRAVEIT runs its own platform (this website and the SCRAVEIT apps) and does not take part in ONDC. It therefore carries both the seller-side and the buyer-side obligations listed in Annexure 1 of the Order.
| 1. Licence and hygiene rating | Each seller's FSSAI licence or registration number is shown on its store page, each product page and the bill. Hygiene rating is shown where the seller has one. |
|---|---|
| 2. Agreement with sellers | Every seller signs the SCRAVEIT Partner Agreement in the partner app (Aadhaar eSign), confirming it complies with the FSS Act, Rules and Regulations and that liability for its food rests with it. |
| 3. Principal display panel | Every pre-packed product page shows a clear picture of the front of the pack, together with the full label information. |
| 4. Shelf life | Packaged food is delivered with at least 30% of its shelf life or 45 days remaining. Expired products cannot be listed. Restaurant orders are freshly prepared. |
| 5. Mandatory information, free of charge | All mandatory food information is shown on the product page before checkout, at no cost. |
| 6. Last-mile delivery | Delivered by SCRAVEIT-trained delivery partners in clean, insulated, closed bags. |
| 7. No misleading claims | Product names, images and claims are checked against the seller's label and menu before listing. |
| 8. Delisting | Any non-compliant product or seller is delisted immediately from the admin panel. |
| 9. Platform details | SCRAVEIT's name, licence and grievance details appear on this page and in the footer of every page. |
| 10. FSSAI number on bills | The seller's FSSAI number is printed on every bill, which customers can view in the app. |
| 11. Calories, allergens, veg / non-veg | Shown on every dish and product page as provided by the seller. |
| 13. Grievances | Customers raise and track complaints in the app or through the grievance officer. SCRAVEIT resolves them with the seller. |
